General Information:

1. Classes are open to students year around.
2. A student's Medical/Registration form must be turned in BEFORE being allowed to participate in any classes.
3. Studio closings are normally for the following holidays and productions:
   • September - Labor Day weekend
   • November - Thanksgiving week
   • December/January - Christmas Break, following school schedule
   • March - Spring Break, following school schedule
   • May - Memorial Day Weekend
   • June - Summer Break
4. Class placements for students are at the discretion of the elite staff.
5. All studio information is posted on the elite website.
6. In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER, please check the website home page
   • www.elitenm.net for any changes to the schedule.
7. Parents may not leave students/children untended before or after classes. elite Dance will not be responsible for students or their siblings outside of classes. We ask that parents monitor their children when at the studio and not allow them to run or play inside the studio.

Rules and Standards:

1. Students are expected to behave with respect towards others, work hard, be in dress code and be teachable.
2. Students who are more than ten minutes late to class will not be allowed to participate in class.
3. elite Dance Studio reserves the right to dismiss a student from the studio for any reason.
4. elite Dance Studio will not tolerate any illegal behavior.
5. In the event that a student leaves elite Dance or is dismissed, any deposits, registration, or monthly tuition paid for the student or the student's activities will not be refunded or transferred.

Dress Codes:

Students must be in dress code for their first paid class. No exceptions. Please have hair in a bun for all classes. Please remove jewelry (for student's safety while training), and keep nails filed and blunt.

Preschool

Girls: black or dark green leotard, footless pink tights, pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

Males: black shorts, solid color t-shirts, black ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

CH Level One Classes

Girls: black or dark green leotard, footless pink tights, pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

Males: black shorts, solid color t-shirt, black ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

Tap - leotard, shorts, tap shoes

Hip Hop - loose fitting t-shirt and jeans or sweats, tennis shoes

CH Level Two Classes

Girls: black or dark green leotard, footless pink tights, pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

Males: black sweat pants, solid color t-shirt, black jazz shoes (oxfords or slip-ons

Tap and Jazz - leotard, shorts, t-shirt, tap and/or jazz shoes

Hip Hop: Sweat pants and t-shirt, tennis shoes

CH Level Three Classes

Girls: black or dark green leotard, footless pink tights, pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)

Ballet skirts permitted

Males: black sweat pants, solid color t-shirt, black jazz shoes (oxfords or slip-ons

Tap and Jazz - leotard, shorts, t-shirt, tap and/or jazz shoes

Hip Hop: Sweat pants and t-shirt, tennis shoes

Junior and Adult Classes:

Ballet

• Girls: leotard (solid color), black or pink tights, skirts permitted, pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas)
• Males: under armor(purchase at any sporting goods store), work out pants cut above the knee, black ballet slippers

Jazz/Contemporary

• Girls: leotards, jazz pants or shorts cut above the knee, jazz shoes (any type)
• Males: under armor(purchase at any sporting goods store), work out pants cut above the knee, black ballet slippers

Tap

• Tap shoes, loose fitting clothes (no stomachs or cleavage showing)

Hip Hop

• Tennis shoes, loose fitting clothes (no stomachs or cleavage showing)

Martial Arts

• Tennis shoes, work out clothing

Dance supplies can be purchased with Revolution Dancewear through elite Dance Studio or at your local dancewear store: New Mexico Danewear and DanceTyme

Performances:

• elite Dance provides numerous theatrical productions each season for our elite students to participate in. A registration fee is required for all shows.

Payment Policies:

1. A $30/per family registration fee for students is due upon original registration and annually each July thereafter.
2. Monthly tuition is due the first of each month. Payment coupons from the office should be included with each payment. Payments may be mailed to elite Dance, 701 Osuna Rd NE, Suite 1200, Albuquerque, NM 87113 or submitted in the elite office. Please make sure that checks are labeled with student's name in the "memo" space.
3. NEW POLICY BEGINNING 01/01/2012
   Elite dance will not prorate tuition and provides make up classes ONLY for studio cancellations due to breaks, shows and snow days. Make up classes must be scheduled with the elite office manager. There are no exceptions to this policy.
4. Tuition price increases by $10 on the 10th of each month and by $15 on the 15th of each month. A $15 late fee will be charged for any other payments that are more than 10 days late.
5. A $25 service fee, plus any fees charged to elite Dance Studio, will be assessed for checks returned for insufficient funds.
6. All payments should be submitted to the elite Office. Neither elite dance, nor any of its staff will be held responsible for lost or stolen payments. Payments may be made in cash, check or by credit/debit.
7. Tuition, registration and deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be carried over to a new season.
8. In the event a student or participant withdraws, or is removed from any activity after the first deposit is given, or commitment is made through attendance, the dancer or participant is responsible for all related expenses, including monthly tuition, costumes, fees and increased expenses incurred by elite Dance or the other participants due to the cancellation/withdrawal.
9. Instructor/Chaperone expenses are equally shared among participants for activities and performances.
10. Costumes are ordered based on information given in Company/Team Application forms and Show Registration Forms. Please make sure that all sizing information provided is accurate.
11. elite Dance requires that students notify the studio office when withdrawing from a class, show or the company/crew.
12. Children's classes have size limits. Therefore, if a student does not attend class for more than two weeks in a row, or fails to pay the monthly tuition on time, their space will be forfeited to a new student.
