elite Dance welcomes the opportunity to help give your child:
- A strong technical foundation in dance
- Quality instruction in a supportive and safe atmosphere
- A love of dance and respect for the art of dance
By giving attention to technique, body mechanics and discipline, while maintaining the joy of dance, we nurture the love of the art while protecting the student. We desire to develop within each student, musical awareness, coordination, flexibility, strength and a sound technical understanding of dance. These will serve as tools to enable our dancers to advance to higher levels of ability.
Over sixty years of combined experience in dance training and teaching children have gone into the development of the elite children's curriculum. The elite Children's Program has been designed to engage the student's auditory, visual, and muscular memory. elite teachers follow curriculum that ensures a steady progression as dance concepts are reinforced and built upon. elite is dedicated to the correct and faithful teaching of dance, therefore, students are not allowed to take Jazz classes without first taking Ballet.
elite offers wonderful performance opportunities for students to participate in. All Ballet students have the opportunity to perform in our yearly Holiday and Spring shows alongside the elite Professional and Pre-professional companies. Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop students have the opportunity to perform in the elite Kids Showcase which is normally in March each year.
