Adult Program Information:

  1. Classes are open to students 13 years of age and older.
  2. A student's Medical/Registration form must be turned in BEFORE being allowed to participate in any classes.
  3. All NEW students attend an Adult Intro class for Ballet or Tap. Teachers will then place students in the appropriate level of Jazz, Ballet or Tap according to skill level. Adults that have never taken dance before will remain in the Intro classes until ready to move into an Intermediate class.
  4. Class schedules, studio information, and monthly information are posted on the elite website. Please check the Bulletin Board on our website each week for updated information!

    5. Dress Codes:

    Dancers are required to be in dress code for all classes.

    Adult Classes:
    Ballet and elite INTRO
    • Girls: leotard (solid color), black or pink tights, skirts permitted, pink ballet slippers, hair in bun
    • Males: under armor(purchase at any sporting goods store), work out pants cut above the knee, black ballet slippers
    Jazz/Contemporary
    • Girls: leotards, jazz pants or shorts cut above the knee, jazz shoes (any type)
    • Males: under armor(purchase at any sporting goods store), work out pants cut above the knee, black ballet slippers
    Tap
    • Tap shoes, loose fitting clothes (no stomachs or cleavage showing)
    Hip Hop
    • Tennis shoes, loose fitting clothes (no stomachs or cleavage showing)

    Dance shoes can be purchased with Revolution Dancewear through elite Dance Studio. Dance Supplies may also be purchased at local dance stores: New Mexico Dance Wear and DanceTyme

    Performances:

    • elite Dance provides numerous theatrical productions each season for our elite students. Intro and beginning classes do not participate in performances. A registration fee is required for all shows. Hip Hop students have the opportunity to participate in monthly Ciphers and Open Sessions at elite. Tap students have the opportunity to participate in Tap Jams and Open Sessions at elite. Please talk with the office for more information.
